This is one of my favorites. I turned the bowl portion for this box about 1.5 years ago and allowed it to dry and stabilize before turning it again to true it up and make it symetrical. All of the wood used for this product came from local yards and were originally destined for the burn pit. This "urban logging" is a wonderfully sustainable way to obtain beautiful wood for our products.
These can be used as gift boxes, jewelry holders, candy, etc. I like to keep whole-bean coffee in mine. It maintains the freshness of the coffee and the coffee "seasons" the wood, leaving an incredible aroma!
This lidded box is finished in our jojoba oil and beeswax wood conditioner for an all natural, easily maintained, and food safe finish.
