A simple yet lovely serving spoon made from Sassafras and carved in a manner that retained some of the sap wood to contrast the golden honey colored heart wood. Some of the tooling marks from the carving process were left in the bowl of the spoon fpor additional character.
This utensil was hand carved, hand sanded, then finished in our jojoba oil and beeswax conditioner for an all natural, easily maintained, and food safe finish.
