This mortor and pestle combo is absolutely amazing. This pictures do not do them justice! The mortor is turned from 100+ year old fence post reclaimed from a local farm, and the pestle is turned from a section of walnut crotch, leaving an amazing combination of curly grain, feather grain, iridescence, and sap and heart wood. The morotor also has some age cracking and termite character to add to the appeal! This is a one-of-a-kind set that will certainly impress and will last for generations! Use this mortor and pestle to break down herbs and spices and release their natural flavors, or for makeup applications, tea making, etc.
