This bowl is neat! It is made from soft maple from a tree cut down in a local yard. I love the color variations in the bowl, and the fishbowl style shows these colors off! This bowl was "twice turned," meaning that it was roughly turned and then allowed to sit for several months to dry and warp, then was finished turned to provide a stable symmetrical bowl that will last for generations.
Finished in our jojoba oil and beeswax conditioner for an all natural, easily maintained, and food safe finish.

5 inches tall by 7 5/8 inches outside diameter
There is some minor grain tearout typical of soft maple that can be seen in the last picture and this is reflected in the price.
