Beautiful, rustic, osage orange (hedge apple) vase that's certain to impress. This vase was hand turned by me from a sustainably sourced 100+ year old fence post from a farm in North East Missouri.
I turned it in a make that focuses on the incredible grain that osage orange is known for, yet left the contrast of over 100 years of aging. This vase is absolutely solid and is made from one of the most dense and longest lasting woods in North America. With proper care it will last for generations! NOTE: this is a dry vase and will not hold water.
Finished in our jojoba oil and beeswax wood conditioner for an all natural, petroleum product free, and food safe finish.
