These are made from responsibly sourced Missouri black walnut obtained from a yard in North East Missouri. The tree was already dead and on the ground, destined for the landfill or burn pit. They were selected for their figured grain pattern, with each one having some unique, curly, and iridescent grain. They are stunning!
They are finished in our jojoba oil and beeswax wood conditioner for an all natural, easily maintained, and (though not necessary) food safe finish.
