Our bowls are typically twice turned over a period of 6 months to 2 years (depending on spiecies, thickness, and size). this reduces the chance of warping and/or cracking after purchase and provides a symetric product to the customer. This particular bowl has some minor grain tear out inside of the bowl that is barely noticable and is reflected in the price.
Finished in our jojoba oil and beeswax conditioner for an all natural, easily maintained, and food safe finish.
