This snowman sure cleaned up nicely! The salvaged wood that was used to turn it had a long crack running down the side, so I tried to incorporate this into the design. It turned out wonderfully! This will certainly spruce up your holiday decor.
This snowman was hand turned (by me!) from a sustainably sourced piece of cribbing removed from the bottom of a pallet. The hat is colored using thermal modification (i.e. burning) and the red accent is a simple, light application of marker that is then blended by hand. It is made from red oak and will last for generations with proper care.
This snowman is finished in our jojoba oil and beeswax conditioner for an all natural and easily maintained finish.
